Image
So here we are pushing hard for goals and one day some really hard days hit us and we can't seem to understand why. It's important to push through each day as close to 100% as we possibly can but what do we do during the storm before our breakthroughs? This for some reason is always the hardest part for me to put in the work. I'm run down by this point. Sometimes tired and exhausted from pushing hard for my goals. It never fails though. I push so hard and think some days this journey is smooth sailing and then the storm before the breakthrough lands smack dab in the middle of my plans. Every time a storm comes I remind myself that a breakthrough is on the way. In all honesty, from my experiences, the bigger the storm the bigger the breakthrough. But on the other side of the coin, a bigger storm just means I have to use the ways I've learned to be disciplined, inspired, motivated, and resilient even more. All the many ways I have learned to push for my goals now have t...

You are right where you need to be

Image
You are right where you need to be. This statement resonated deeply with me when I heard it in a motivational video just last week. The timing of this message couldn't have been better for me personally, and I expressed gratitude to the universe for sending me this sign. It boosted my confidence to continue pursuing my goals and stay on my chosen path. It was the perfect time for a powerful message since I had been imperfectly navigating this thing called life. Life is truly hard sometimes, and it stumps me when I am trying to stay on my path. Messages like this seem to reel me back into focus on my life's lessons and journey. That statement has a soothing tone that grants us permission to be content with where we currently are. It's as if our position in life has been validated, and it brings a sense of peace. Being right where we need to be should give us the comfort and strength we need to endure further. Lately, I have been actively applying for various job opportunit...

However, one of the best ways to break out of a rut is simply to move. Yes, I said move...it sounds so simple but it really works! Movement can have a healing effect, altering your mood, perspective, and energy ultimately helping you achieve your goals. I used to struggle with feeling unmotivated and stuck in my daily routine. I found it challenging to get things done and accomplish my goals. However, one day, I made the decision to start getting up at 6 am and commit to a daily stretching routine.
